What Are The Reasons For Overheating And Oil Leakage Of Plunger Pumps

There are two reasons for excessive heating of plunger pumps, one is mechanical conflict heating. Because the appearance of sports is in a state of dry or semi dry conflict, the moving parts collide with each other and generate heat. The second is the heat generated by liquid conflicts. High pressure oil leaks into the low-pressure chamber through various gaps, and a lot of hydraulic energy is lost and converted into heat energy. So accurately selecting the gaps between moving parts, fuel tank capacity, and cooler can prevent the appearance of excessive heating and high oil temperature in the pump. In addition, blockage of the return oil filter can cause excessive back pressure in the return oil, which can also lead to high oil temperature and overheating of the pump body.

The main reasons for plunger pump oil leakage are as follows:
(1) The main shaft oil seal is damaged or the shaft has defects or scratches;
(2) Excessive internal leakage can cause an increase in pressure at the oil seal, resulting in damage or displacement of the oil seal;
(3) The oil drain pipe is too thin and too long, causing oil leakage at the sealing point;
(4) The external oil pipe of the pump is loose, the pipe joint is damaged, the sealing gasket is aged or cracked;
(5) Loose bolts and damaged seals in the variable conditioning mechanism;
(6) The cast iron pump casing has sand holes or poor welding.
