The Main Working Principle Of Centrifugal Pump
1. The impeller is driven by the pump shaft to rotate the fluid acting between the blades. The fluid is centrifugal and is thrown around from the center of the impeller. When the fluid reaches the periphery of the impeller, the flow velocity is very high;
2. The pump casing collects the liquid sprayed from each blade, and the liquid gradually moves in the direction of the volute shaped channel in the casing, thereby converting the kinetic energy of the fluid into static pressure energy and reducing the loss of static pressure energy. Therefore, the function of the pump casing is not only to collect the liquid, but also an energy conversion device;
3. The principle of liquid suction depends on the high-speed rotation of the impeller, which forces the liquid at the center of the impeller to be ejected at a high speed, thus forming a low pressure at the center of the impeller, and the liquid level in the low-pressure tank is continuously sucked in.
