How To Install Stainless Steel Gear Pump

Stainless steel gear pump is a common type of pump with a wide range of applications, generally used for transporting edible oil, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and so on. Below is the installation method of stainless steel gear pump:
1. The unit is installed on a horizontal cement foundation and fixed with anchor bolts.
2. The coupling should be coaxial. After completion, rotate the coupling to confirm smooth operation without negative pressure before entering operation.
3. Stainless steel gear pumps are not suitable for conveying unclean oil, and oil filters should be installed at the inlet end.
4. The pump does not have a reflux valve. It is recommended to install a valve in the oil discharge pipeline to ensure the normal operation of the system.
5. The installation height of stainless steel gear pump shall not exceed the allowable suction height.
6. The rotation direction of the pump is counterclockwise when viewed from the pump end towards the motor end.
