The difference between high-pressure gear pump and ordinary gear pump

1. The appearance of the high-pressure gear pump adopts a rectangular five piece combination, which is easy to process, neat and beautiful. The appearance design of ordinary gear pumps is simple and large.
2. The noise of the high-pressure gear pump is low, and the noise value during maximum load operation can reach Class A of the product standard; Ordinary gear pumps are generally in grades B and C.
3. The volumetric efficiency of the high-pressure gear pump can reach 95%, making it an energy-saving product; Ordinary pumps generally range from 50% to 80%.
4. High pressure gear pumps can operate under constant pressure at low speeds (125r/min), with a volumetric efficiency of over 85%, which is not achievable by ordinary precision gear pumps.
5. The rotating parts inside the high-pressure gear pump are made of special alloy materials, which generally have strong resistance to impurities and are not easy to wear. The commonly used materials for the housing and end cap of gear pumps made of ordinary materials are cast iron or aluminum alloy. Although the cost is low, they are not wear-resistant.
6. The suction head can reach 8m, belonging to high suction gear pumps, far exceeding ordinary gear pumps. During the type test, the pump can still operate normally when the suction port is -0.085MPa.
7. The sealing of the high-pressure gear pump is good, and there are no paper pads for adjusting the clearance between the pump body and pump cover. The end face clearance of the gear is completely ensured by the size and shape accuracy of the parts. The pump adopts a multi-stage combination sealing system for sealing, and the probability of oil leakage at the pump shaft end is very low. Ordinary gear pump covers and seals are prone to loosening, resulting in oil leakage.
